Duties of the Graduate Sales Executive

  • Hitting event targets

Noord Group is growing the marketing team. Due to an active strategy to grow the marketing division this new position has been created and is the ideal opportunity to start or continue a career in a multinational organisation.

We are not looking for someone who has the professional experience but the right candidate will be passionate about pursuing a career in marketing.

Reporting directly to the Senior Marketing Manager, the Marketing Assistant’s roles and responsibilities will include:

  • Data management and cleansing
    • Sourcing potential sponsors, delegates and speaker leads and inputting them into the company database and Excel documents
    • Cleaning existing data
    • Uploading/inputting data into the company CRM system
  • Executing email marketing campaigns on events and analysing performance
  • Web updates and administration
  • Working closely with internal teams to curate/report on content generated at events
  • Conducting desktop research on industry trends and competing events
  • Creating and managing media / supporter partnerships
  • Social media activities in support of active campaigns
  • Supporting event branding efforts onsite for example power points slides/banners

 

The ideal Marketing Assistant will need the following:

  • Educated to at least A-level
  • A proactive self-starter who strives for excellence
  • Good combination of creative and analytical skills
  • Great communication skills – both oral and written
  • Highly organised with the ability to work to deadlines
  • Adaptable – we’re an innovative organisation and change processes where necessary to work smarter
  • Comfortable with the unknown – the events industry is quick paced and sometimes schedules change
  • Experienced in MS Office applications (in particular ExCel, Word and Powerpoint)
  • Knowledge of the core principals of marketing
  • Interest/experience in the IT sector

 

Highly desired (not essential)

  • Previous B2B events experience
  • Experience using Adobe Photoshop
  • Experience in executing B2B social media communication
  • Proficient in marketing software and online applications (Email marketing systems such as Dotmailer, CMS such as WordPress, CRM tools, online analytics, Google Adwords)
  • Fluency in a second language (preferably Dutch/German)
  • Exposure to paid content / PPC / social media advertising strategies
